I started line dancing at a local bar in 2014. From there, I joined a regional dance team called the Cowtown Cowgirls. In June 2016, I was introduced to The Davis Graduate and Stoney's Rockin' Rodeo in Sacramento by Christopher Gonzalez. In November 2016, I attended my first circuit event, Las Vegas Dance Explosion, and from there, I was hooked.
In April 2017, I co-choreographed the internationally-known dance "Can't Walk Away" with Christopher Gonzalez, which won its World Championship title in January 2018.
Also in April 2017, I began instructing locally. I currently teach at a few local venues and guest teach at a few local classes.
In 2017, I joined Christopher Gonzalez on Line Dance Podcast, where we have been able to sit down with instructors, choreographers, event director and dancers and discuss line dance with them.
In 2018, I began competing in UCWDC Novice Solo Line Dance. I have been fortunate enough to be invited to begin instructing at circuit events which include Pikes Peak Line or Bust both 2018, and upcoming 2019 and Palm Springs Winter Break 2019, as well as a few others. I was also given the opportunity to teach at the Stagecoach festival in April 2018.
I have traveled to several events over the last two and a half years, from here in the Bay Area to Southern California, as well as Colorado, North Carolina, Massachusetts, Florida, and Oregon and I hope to continue to travel both across the states as well as internationally in the years to come.
