I first started dancing at the tender age of 4, first with tap and ballet and then moved to stage school where I learnt jazz, modern and acting.

I worked on a few stage productions with some well known actors and singers - Anna Karen (On The Buses), Jo O’Meara (S Club), Frankie Bridge & Rochelle Humes (The Saturdays) and others.

It was while I was at stage school that they ran a summer program, which included various other activities not normally in our curriculum, one being line dance. Needless to say, I was hooked from the start and wanted to learn more. This was back in 99/2000.

Having found this new passion I never thought I’d still be dancing 24 years later, let alone teaching (20 years), choreographing, event organiser and, more recently, radio DJ. I have a very strong passion and have seen line dance change over the years, incorporating more dance styles and techniques plus the eclectic mix of music.

Through line dance I met my fiancé Carla, whom we share our beautiful daughter Meredith with and is now just learning to “dance” herself (hehe). I previously have 2 other children, Riley (teenager) and Teigen.

I am a fully qualified instructor and have made line dance my full time job, teaching between 5/6 classes a week, hosting monthly socials and weekend events. Previously I’ve taught and DJ’d  on other events around the country and have also taught at various private functions and festivals.

Apart from line dance, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and catching up on some wonderful tv shows and films. During the summer you can most likely find me at the beach.

I hope one day to meet you in a dance floor if we haven’t already met!
